Hanson Green has an established reputation of working in an environment of professionalism and integrity. We are expert and discreet when approaching candidates and rigorous in the shortlists issued to clients. We manage expectations throughout the process, following up quickly and diligently and keeping all sides informed on progress.
As each client and search mandate is unique, we discuss and agree our methodology at the start of each assignment ensuring our approach is tailored to individual circumstances, needs and timeframes.
Step 1:
Client briefing
We agree and finalise the job specification and candidate profile to ensure potential candidates not only have the background, skills and experience to meet your requirements, but the right personality to fit the unique culture and values of your organisation.
Step 2:
Stringent research & submission of long list
Following a rigorous research process, we aim to provide a long list of potential candidates two to three weeks after the job specification has been agreed. We will discuss these individuals with you in detail and agree a specific target list.
Step 3:
Approaches, interviews and submission of short list
We contact and interview identified candidates on your behalf and present you with around five detailed candidate reports. The timeframe is normally around three weeks. We will then manage the client/candidate interview process and will gather the necessary feedback. Reference checks will be conducted as appropriate.
Step 4:
Offer negotiation and post placement liaison
Once a candidate has been selected for the position, our team will work alongside you to ensure the timely and successful conclusion of negotiations on compensation and organisational issues. We will also remain in contact with the client and candidate through those critical first months to help a smooth induction.
From initiation to short list, the appointment process typically takes six to eight weeks. In exceptional circumstances, where speed is essential, timings can be reduced.
