He started his career as a regular officer in the Irish Guards. Before moving into executive search, Barry formed his own insurance broking business, which he eventually sold to a banking group. He also worked as a Director for Jardine Matheson in South East Asia. He is currently a member of the Advisory Boards of Management Consulting Group Plc and StratCo Inc. Clare Gumbley Clare has been recruiting executive and non-executive directors since 2005 and has worked extensively with listed businesses. Specialising in industrial and environmental sectors, she works with a range of quoted businesses and also manages a number private equity clients for Directorbank, Hanson Green’s sister company. Clare studied English Literature at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the universities of Durham and York. Neil Holmes Neil heads the industrial practice for Hanson Green and brings extensive experience leading searches for a range of clients in utilities, construction, engineering, Oil & Gas and support services. Clients include FTSE 100 and 250 plc's as well as AIM and pre-IPO companies where Neil has recruited Non Executive Directors and Chairmen, Finance Directors and Chief Executives. Neil is a graduate in economics and has previously worked for CIBC Wood Gundy as a Eurobond dealer and PricewaterhouseCoopers in their global advisory practice. Sally Moulsdale Sally joined from an independent search firm where she launched and headed up the non-executive practice, working mainly with corporate plc clients and creating high-level networks, particularly in the retail, leisure and media sectors. Sally specialises in the consumer sector and is active across the Directorbank Group, working for plc boards at Hanson Green and also looking after a number of private equity clients for Directorbank, Hanson Green’s sister company. Krystyna Nowak Krystyna Nowak has eighteen years of experience with Citibank / Citigroup, the first ten of which were in London, in shipping finance and oil project finance. She was Risk Manager for treasury and corporate finance in Hong Kong and has oil industry expertise for SE Asia. She also spent eighteen months as advisor to the board of a freight airline. Krystyna is a graduate from Oxford University where she studied Physics. She gained a Law Degree in 2003. Daniela Romano With more than eight years experience in the industry, Daniela has a strong track record in recruiting senior positions across the finance, IT and executive sectors on a global basis. Her diverse background has seen her working for a leading recruitment PLC where she successfully developed the company’s enterprise resource planning division. She has also developed a start-up boutique recruitment firm in Sydney, Australia, a firm that gained a solid reputation with top global PLCs. Daniela speaks fluent Italian and German and can converse confidently in French and Danish. Peter Waine Peter Waine has worked for manufacturing companies and professional firms, both as a Director and an NED. A former CBI Director, he acquired Hanson Green with Barry Dinan in 1989. He is co-author of both The Independent Board Director, the acknowledged management book on non-executive directors, and Takeover, the acclaimed business novel, and author of The Board Game. He is a visiting Professor at both the Warwick and Cass Business Schools. He is a former trustee of the Royal Opera House and a member of the International Cricket Council.
