Non-Executive Search: Search Methodology

Meet with relevant members of your team – to understand the company, its strategy and culture.

Agree the job specification and prepare a candidate profile – we need to ensure that all potential candidates have the background, skills and experience to meet your requirements.

Research – we aim to provide the longlist of potential candidates within two to three weeks from sign off. We will discuss these with you in detail and agree a target list.

Approaches and Interviews – candidates will be contacted and interviewed by us.

Submission of Shortlist – detailed profiles of three to five candidates will be presented to you within approximately four weeks from the longlist meeting. Interviews will then be arranged for you to meet with these candidates. The process will continue until a successful candidate is placed.

Contract Negotiation – once a candidate is selected for the position, we will help to move this process forward in a timely fashion and to ensure a successful conclusion.

Post Appointment – Hanson Green will remain in contact with the client and candidate to assist in a smooth induction.

Timing – from initiation to the submission of shortlist candidates typically takes about 6 to 8 weeks. In certain circumstances, where speed may be essential, this time span can be reduced significantly.

Flexibility - as each client and search mandate is unique, we will discuss our search methodology with each client, at the beginning of each search, to ensure that it is tailored to match individual needs and timeframes.
